SPRING 2024 ENRICHMENT 

The Foundation is excited to share with you the 2024 SPRING Enrichment offerings!


This spring, we are offering a 7-week session filled with a wide variety of classes run by EFS faculty and outside vendors.


Registration will open on MobileArq on Monday 3/25 at noon and will close on Thursday, 3/28. Spaces are limited. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and some classes sell out quickly.


Important reminders:

  • Classes will begin immediately after school, from 3:05 - 4:25 p.m.

  • All classes are held on the school premises.

  • Children must only be signed up for classes offered for their specific grade.

  • Send your child in with an after-school snack.

  • If your child attends after-care, they will be taken after their enrichment class to Tiny Treasures, where they can commence after-care from 4:25 p.m. 

  • If children are picked up late (after 4:35 p.m.), a late charge of $10 per child is applied

Spring Session (April - June) Details


Pricing:
Classes are $210 each.


Class Dates:
Tuesdays (7 weeks): 4/9, 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 6/4, 6/11 (makeup)
Wednesdays (7 weeks): 410, 4/17, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 6/5, 6/12 (makeup)
Thursdays (7 weeks): 4/11, 4/18, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, 6/13 (makeup)


Makeup Policy:
We are building in one week at the end of each session for any makeup due to teacher illness or weather issues.

TUESDAY
American Girls Get Crafty – Rivera (K-3): Calling all girls and their dolls to get crafty with Mrs. Rivera.
Each week we will take an adventure with an American Girl where we will learn a little, craft a little, and
sometimes dance a little.


3D Printing – Pannullo (3-6): Get ready to explore the world of 3D modeling using Tinkercard and
witness real-world application of 3D printing. Through hands-on activities, students will learn to
manipulate 3D vectors and solve problems creatively.

Future Space Explorers – Mad Science (K-2): Children will go on a voyage of discovery with unique
hands-on activities, and amazing demonstrations that explore the sun and stars, space technology,
rocket science, the atmosphere, planets, moon, and more! 10 student minimum.


Learn to Ride – Pilato (K-1): A fun and friendly class designed to teach your child how to ride a bike. Ms.
Pilato will guide children through the process from coasting to steering to stopping and pedaling. 5
student maximum. Outdoor class. Bikes to be dropped off at school. No training wheels. Helmet,
sneakers and pants required. Knee and elbow pads recommended.


Crochet Woobles - Smith (4-6): Learn to crochet The Wooble way! Children will learn how to crochet
using a beginner friendly Wooble crochet kit.


WEDNESDAY
Dance Mania – Rivera (1-3): Learn a choreographed dance over 8 weeks and present a mini recital to
friends and family.


Robotics - RoboThink (K-2): Calling all aspiring engineers! Build amazing robots of all shapes, sizes, and
functions using gears, motors, sensors, and more! Students of any skill can jump right in and start
building robots. 12 student minimum.


Drones and Programming *AM* – Pannullo (3-6): Explore the realms of programming, photography,
and aviation with the Tello drone. Through engaging programming challenges, students will learn to
code and navigate their drones through thrilling aerial maneuvers. Class will take place before school,
7:30-8:20 AM.


Chess Challenge – Wallace (3-6): Checkmate! Learn the basics of chess and have fun playing timed
matches each week. This class will also cover the importance of proper chess etiquette and
sportsmanship.


Computer Animation – Pannullo (4-6): Learn all about computer animation and how to use the iPad and
MacBooks. Students will see first-hand how to make their artwork come to life using technologies such
as AR and AI.


THURSDAY
Craft Corner – Rivera (2-4): Come get crafty with Mrs. Rivera. Each week students will create seasonal
inspired crafts that they will be sure to treasure. 


Sports of All Sorts – Sports Universe (K-2): A fun and innovative class designed to teach the
fundamentals of sports while incorporating fun and skill building games and challenges. Come and learn
baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball and more with Coach Rick! Outdoor class.


American Sign Language – Smith (2-6): Learn ASL basics including letters, numbers, food, family, and
simple phrases. The session will conclude with students learning the school chant and presenting it at
the spirit meeting!


Cartooning with Mr. T – Trogani (3-6): Calling all young artists! Unleash your creativity and learn to
sketch and outline some of your favorite cartoon characters with Mr.T.

By registering, you acknowledge that the named applicant is emotionally ready, is in good health, and
has your permission to participate in this program. You agree that there are no refunds after the first
week of classes. You also agree to pay the late pick-up fee of $10 for each child picked-up after 4:35 on
any enrichment day.


TO ORDER: Log onto the NEW MobileArq - Next app. Go to Online Stores and select FOUNDATION for
the school type. Select the Session and Day for which you would like to register (repeat, if you would like
to register for multiple days.) Please note you will need to order for each child separately (like you do for
school lunches). For example, go in and select a specific class option for child A. Do not change the
quantity. Select the child’s name and then add it to the cart. Then, continue shopping and place the
order for child B, or for the next class for child A. Please make sure you specify which child you are
ordering for with each class order.


CHECKOUT: MobileArq Checkout is done through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can
click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” on the login screen and check out using a credit card. Once you
have ordered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Please review it and make sure it contains
everything you intended to order for the enrichment classes.
